Taking screenshots is a helpful way to show errors for submitting tickets when you have an issue.

You can take a screenshot of the entire screen, an active window, or selected area. The Snipping Tool within Windows 10 is one of the best ways to take screenshots.

Using the Snipping Tool

1. Using the Snipping Tool change the Mode to Window Snip and then click on the desired window you want to screenshot.

2. Using the Snipping Tool change the Mode to Rectangular Snip to select an area of your screen to screenshot.

3. Using the Snipping Tool change the Mode to Window Snip to screenshot your entire screen.

4. The Snipping Tool will then give you new options. Here you can Save, Copy, or Send Snip. You can also edit the image and use the Pen, Highlighter, or Eraser.

Using Alt+Print Screen

By pressing Alt+Print Screen you will take a screen shot of the window you are currently selected on.

Press CTRL+V  to paste the screenshot to a document, email, or any other editing software.
